RUSSIA-SOUTH-OSSETIA-REFUGEES

Georgia plans to lodge a formal protest with the Russian government for agreeing to provide the breakaway province of South Ossetia with three million euros to rehabilitate the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict zone. The US and Georgian presidents will discuss resolution of „frozen conflicts” in Georgia’s breakaway South Ossetia and Abkhazia regions at a Washington meeting 05 July 2006, the White House said 19 June 2006.
