RUSSIA-KOENIGSBERG-MODEL

Picture taken 10 September 2004 in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region shows as an enthusiast carrying a model of a church as he constructs the precise copy of former German town of Koenigsberg as it looked 500 years ago. The height of the highest model is around one metre and the total area is 132-square metres. The political map of Europe changed since World War II, and the former capital of eastern Prussia, Koenigsberg became a Russian city named Kaliningrad.
