A man rides a horse-driven cart in front of Roma gypsy houses in the village of Buzescu, 110 kms west of Bucharest, 13 November 2007. Unlike other residents of Buzescu, who are forced by poverty to immigrate, mainly to Spain, the gypsy community displays wealth and prosperity. Though discreet about the origin of their wealth, much of it comes trading metals, like copper or aluminium.
